The Foodup Program

​For Whom?

  • Are you looking for an FASFC-compliant cookery workshop to get your project off the ground and launch your recipes ? 

     

Join Foodup !

2 possibilities :

  • You want to set up your business in Brussels and join the incubator with the support of Bruxelles Environnement: 10 places are available in the incubator. 

  • You are planning to set up your business in Wallonia: we can help you with the support of Gow Entreprendre and business vouchers.

 

The  requirements :

  • Start-up or young company (less than 4 years old)

  • Head office in Brussels or Wallonia 

  • Willingness to develop your business, create jobs (your own and more) and make the transition to a sustainable business model

  • Commitment to following the program to its conclusion and investing time and energy

The Foodup.Brussels incubation program has 4 components : 

  1.  Collective support in the form of training for 6 months, every Monday at lunchtime (online) or during the day (face-to-face

  2. 6 hours of individual coaching on a blocking issue put forward by the entrepreneur.

  3.  Access to 30 hours of free cooking/workshop time to prototype or develop recipes in one of the Foodup.brussels partner workshops.

  4. The opportunity to give a “pitch” (project and product presentation) and a tasting session at the end of the incubation programme.​

Since this year, Foodup has also been offering its alumni follow-up in the form of group co-development sessions once a month.

Prototyping in the kitchen

Foodup gives you access to a network of FASFC-certified kitchens and workshops in the Brussels region. Each entrepreneur receives a budget of 750 euros for around 30 hours of cooking time to develop their product in an FASFC-approved kitchen throughout the Brussels Region

Individual coaching 

Each entrepreneur benefits from 6 hours of individual coaching on an issue of their choice: finance, communication, sales, packaging, production, recipe design. This individual coaching, which can be taken on one or more occasions, is worth €600.

Prototyping in the kitchen

Pitch and tasting 

The programme closes with a pitch and tasting session during which the entrepreneurs demonstrate their project, their progress and their product, followed by a tasting for an audience of food professionals and potential investors.

Foodup.brussels is a project supported by Brussels Environment

Anna et Manon unissent leurs forces pour créer "Les Surettes", une gamme de produits à base de sureau. Leur objectif est de valoriser une tradition familiale en proposant une variété de délices à base de cette plante remarquable. Leur premier produit phare est le sirop de fleur de sureau, avec des projets futurs incluant des tisanes, des gelées, et même du vin.
